Na-ma-ste
There are many ways of saying hi or hello, in most urban areas, a Hello or Hi as used in English speaking countries suffices as a greeting. A formal greeting in Hindi, accepted throughout the country is ‘Namaste’. There may be exceptions based on the region and the local community.
